  • Brow Laminations: Please understand that laminations soften the hair to create a “fluffier” eyebrow look. If you do not want this look done with a micropigmentation then please refrain from getting a lamination done prior to your appointment.

  • If you are looking for a fluffier look please get lamination done 2 weeks prior to appointment.

  • After Micropigmentation please wait 6-8 weeks to start laminating your eyebrows again.

  • Please do not come to your appointment with freshly tinted, dyed, or henna on your brows, We will be unable to do the appointment and will send you home and you will be responsible for 100% of the service amount.

  • Avoid tanning / Sun exposure 14 days prior and after your procedure. If you come to your appointment with a tan or sunburn, you will need to reschedule and will forfeit your deposit. As your skin exfoliates from sun damage, it will take the pigment with it.

  • No Botox, fillers, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facials of any sort for 2 weeks before and after. Injections (Botox, Radiesse, JuveDerm, Voluma, etc.) must be done 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the procedure.

  • Chemical peels and laser treatments may not be done within 60 days before or after the procedure.

  • Retinol/Retin-A must be discontinued 7 days prior to the procedure (It will cause the skin to bleed).

  • Please stop shaping, waxing, threading or tinting at least 10 days prior. We will shape the treatment area to give you a natural look and feel. Any stray hairs will be taken during the appointment.

  • Avoid any blood thinners 5 days prior and 24hrs after Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, fish oil or vitamin E 3 days prior to procedure unless medically necessary.

  • Please eat before the procedure, your lips will be swollen and you may have some discomfort before you feel comfortable eating again.

  • Please exfoliate your lips 3-5 days prior and keep lips as moisturized as possible 14 days prior to appointment. Working on dry or scaly lips is very difficult and results will not be desirable.

  • Do not over scrub to the point that you have raw or compromised skin.

  • Cosmetic tattooing is a process. Two or three sessions may be required to achieve the desired results. If you have questions regarding the pre-procedure form please reach out to us! We look forward to working with you.

AFTERCARE

  • You will experience swelling and scabbing especially in the first few days.

  • Please apply the moisturizing balm frequently. Keeping your lips moisturized will help the healing process immensely!

  • Do not eat or drink (except water), for the first 3 hours following the procedure. Please try to use a straw while the lips are healing.

  • Do not rub, pick at, or try to exfoliate shedding skin away. If the area is itchy, this is normal, please refrain from scratching. Picking at the shedding skin may pull the pigment with it and affect your retention, so just let them do their thing! And never touch your lips with unwashed hands.

  • No tanning or Sun exposure for 14 days after. Sun damage causes the skin to exfoliate quicker, which will affect your pigment retention.

  • Aside from applying the healing balm, Do not get your lips wet! This includes in the shower, sauna, sweating, swimming, and bath/hot tub for 10-14days after the procedure.

  • You can use lip makeup/gloss on lips after 14 days.

  • It is normal as you are going through the healing process for the pigment to fade, change or disappear completely and reappear weeks later. Healing is a journey! Please also keep in mind that permanent makeup is a multipart process.

BROW LAMINATION, SHAPING, & TINTING

  • When showering, limit your showers so you do not create too much steam. Keep your face out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair. Your face should only be getting wet at the very last end of the shower, avoiding excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area. Do not shampoo or exfoliate for the first 5-10 days as this can disrupt healing.

  • Avoid hot showers, sauna, or swimming for 14 days

  • Avoid heat, sweating, and exercise for 14 days

  • Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors.

  • Avoid topical makeup or sunscreen on the area until fully healed
